Pipe Flow Wizard is able to perform four different flow and pressure drop calculations on a single pipe depending on the known information.
The Pipe Flow Wizard is a pipe flow calculator that will run:
- Pressure Drops Calculations in a pipe
- Fluid Flow Rate Calculations in a pipe
- Internal Diameter Sizing Calculations for a given flow and pressure
- Pipe Length Calculations for a given flow, pressure drop & diameter
Pipe Flow Wizard will calculate results for LIQUIDS or COMPRESSED GASES. A comprehensive Fluid Database is included with viscosity and density of common fluids.
PIPE PRESSURE DROP CALCULATOR
When a pipe's flow rate, internal roughness, internal diameter, length, fittings and elevation change are known the PRESSURE DROP through the pipe can be calculated. The type of flow, Reynold's number, friction factor, and fluid velocity are also displayed.
PIPE FLOW CALCULATOR
When the available pressure, internal roughness, internal diameter, length, fittings and elevation change are known the FLOW RATE through the pipe can be calculated. The type of flow, Reynold's number, friction factor, and fluid velocity are also displayed.
PIPE DIAMETER CALCULATOR
When the pressure in the pipe, flow rate, internal roughness, length, fittings and elevation change are known the MINIMUM INTERNAL DIAMETER of the pipe can be calculated.
PIPE LENGTH CALCULATOR
When internal roughness, internal diameter, fittings, elevation change, available pressure, and flow rate through a pipe are known the MAXIMUM LENGTH of the pipe can be calculated.

Flow Advisor can be used to estimate water flow rates from various open channels, closed channels and differently shaped supply tanks.
Pipe Flow Expert is designed to help todays engineers analyze and solve a wide range of problems where the flow and pressure loss throughout a pipe network must be determined.
MODFLOW-2005 (Harbaugh, 2005) simulates steady and nonsteady flow in an irregularly shaped flow system in which aquifer layers can be confined, unconfined, or a combination of confined and unconfined.
HCALC solves for head loss, diameter, flow, pipe area, velocity, Reynolds number and friction factor using the Darcy-Weisbach, Hazen-Williams or Manning's equations.
CADRE Flow is developed using the basic principles of finite element method as applied to the hydraulics flow field.
FEFLOW is a professional software package for modeling fluid flow and transport of dissolved constituents and/or heat transport processes in the subsurface. FEFLOW contains pre- and post processing functionality and an efficient simulation engine.
