Program Description

greenStruct is a cloud-based structural engineering and design platform with an award-winning interface for efficient design, optimization, and verification of concrete structures with emphasis on sustainability and CO₂ reduction.

The software package currently includes the following programs: 

  • greenSlab: Slabs-on-ground. Design slabs-on-ground based on the specific loads and stiffnesses of the subbases (insulation, ground, or other subbases). Automatically optimize the thickness and/or reinforcement.
  • greenStrip: Wall footings / Strip foundations investigating both the concrete cross section and the geotechnical bearing capacities in multiple load combinations, including non-linear analysis to investigate differential settlements.
  • greenPad: Column spread footings / Pad/Point foundations investigating both the concrete cross section and the geotechnical bearing capacities in multiple load combinations. Automatically optimize the geometry (length and width).
  • greenSection: Cross-section analysis for structural evaluations and investigations of the moment and shear capacities of rectangular, circular, and T-cross sections in the Ultimate Limit State (ULS) and Serviceability Limit State (SLS). 

All programs can calculate both with Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) and conventional steel reinforcement or hybrid solution.  All programs completely automatically generates the documentation..

Currently the Eurocodes (primarily Eurocode 2 and Eurocode 7) are followed, together with fib Model Code 2010, Technical Report 34 (TR34).
