Program Description

BuildQuantities.com is a specialized online platform providing precision construction calculators, material estimators, and technical reference resources. Designed to bridge the gap between physical site measurements and practical project planning, the platform focuses on delivering transparent, formula-driven material calculations for contractors, tradespeople, estimators, DIYers, and project teams. Use metric or imperial measurements to estimate material quantities. Each tool shows its formula, unit conversions, assumptions, and rounding.

  • Asphalt volume and tonnage : Compacted volume, entered-density mass, supplier-rounded order and optional truck loads
  • Bricks for walls and openings : Net wall area, base bricks, bond correction, allowance and supplier pack rounding
  • Compost volume and bags : Direct-layer or mix-component compost volume, planning quantity, and optional whole packages
  • Concrete volume and whole bags : Measured and planning volume, exact package quotient, whole bags, and purchased mixed capacity
  • Concrete for beams : Cross-section area, volume per beam, total concrete, planning volume and whole packages
  • Concrete blocks for walls and openings : Gross, opening, and net area; base units; allowance; whole standard units; and module layout ratios
  • Concrete for columns : Cross-section area, volume per column, total concrete, planning volume, and whole packages
  • Concrete footing volume : Section volumes, overlap deduction, measured total and planning volume
  • Concrete for post holes : Gross hole volume, post displacement, net concrete, planning volume, and whole packages
  • Concrete slab volume : Plan area, uniform slab volume, thickened edge, measured total and planning volume
  • Concrete for walls : Gross wall volume, opening deduction, net concrete, planning volume and whole packages
  • Straight deck-board rows and stock boards : Rows, linear length, row-plan boards and pooled lower bound
  • Drainage gravel around a pipe : Gross trench zone, pipe displacement, placed gravel, supplier order, and optional mass
  • Driveway base and surface gravel : Separate placed, loose-basis, supplier-rounded, and optional mass results for 2 driveway layers
  • Drywall area and sheet layout checks : Net area, lower bound, horizontal and vertical grids

  • Fill dirt volume : In-place and loose-order volume for uniform or linearly changing fill, plus optional mass
  • Flooring area, pieces and boxes : Net area, allowance, whole pieces, boxes and box surplus
  • Gravel volume : Measured area and volume, planning allowance, and optional supplier-density mass
